The extremely sturdy Sport-Thieme "Competition" beach volleyball posts are manufactured to comply with the DIN EN 1271 playing field equipment standard. They are 300 cm long and made from aluminium. It is really quick to set your court up using the portable volleyball posts. Simply place the posts in existing ground sockets, attach the net and the game can begin. Very practical: the net height is freely adjustable between 1.55 m and 2.50 m.

Our Sport-Thieme "Competition" beach volleyball posts are available with two different net tensioning systems: the well-known spindle mechanism with a crank or a pulley system. With the latter, there are no problems with wearing parts such as crank, hinge and spindle. With our system, the pads and cords cannot get twisted or tangled. The nets are also easy to tighten and use, even by schoolchildren.
We recommend the following for the foundations:
The insertion depth into the ground sockets is 35 cm. The foundation for the sockets should be approx. 80x80x80 cm in natural ground, or approx. 100x100x100 cm in backfilled, light ground.
